Joint R&D proposals provide an opportunity for the partners to jointly achieve goals that would not be possible without them. Thus, it is in the interest of both industry and the university to submit joint R&D proposals. Where appropriate, the partners may also join forces to find the most appropriate funding opportunities to meet their objectives.
